Farm Fresh Ingredients
At Victoria Gastro Pub, we strongly believe in using as many freshly grown products as possible and that the best food is often “farm to table”. To support this concept, our Executive Chef Joe Krywucki develops many of our menu items based on farm fresh seasonal ingredients. Our Snake River Farms wagyu burger, Van de Rose Farms Hereford rib eye, White Marble Farms pork chop, Murray’s Farm roasted chicken, Anson Mills Carolina gold risotto and Baugher’s apple dumplings are just a few examples of some of the farm fresh inspired creations that have graced our menu.
The herb garden (located behind the restaurant) is the primary source for the mint, chives, basil, parsley, rosemary, tarragon, lavender, and cilantro that compliment our food and beverages. Lastly, produce directly from our owner’s garden is essential to menu items that serve as daily specials or even permanent additions to the menu; such as the squash blossoms, heirloom tomato capris salad and fruit pies.
Victoria Gastro Pub heartily endorses charitable giving and has supported numerous charities and non-profit organizations, including the ARC of Howard County, the Claudia Meyer Cancer Resource Center, the American Heart Associations Howard Heart Ball, the Howard Hospital Foundations ongoing Capital Campaigns, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Most notably, the owners of Victoria Gastro Pub have hosted the Annual Howard County Wine Masters Event benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Maryland for several years, and are very active with the Maryland Chapter.
In addition to sponsoring sizable events held throughout Maryland, Victoria Gastro Pub also wants to support fundraising efforts of local charities, schools, PTAs, and churches. To accomplish this, we have initiated a fundraising program at our restaurant. For charitable group parties of 30 or more guests at Victoria Gastro Pub on a Sunday-Wednesday night, we will donate 15% of the total food & beverage check (tax & gratuity not included) back to that charity.
